Audrey's wedding

Audrey and Jay Morrison! This past weekend, I was maid of honor in Audrey's wedding. She looked just beautiful. We had a great time. Audrey held Ansley. Andrew danced all over the place and kept Greg busy. Beth and I just enjoyed seeing a bunch of people we hadn't seen for awhile. The next wedding will be Greg's brother Bobby and his fiance' Christi! We can't wait until May!

8/4/08 QOTM Anyone who knows me knows that I have always had very clear skin. My son has only known me this way as well. One morning, I went into his room to wake him up. The first words out of his mouth were, "WHAT"S THAT?" (He gasped as he pointed to the largest pimple I have ever had or seen (on my chin). I explained that it was a zit. His blank expression led me to follow up with, "It's a bug bite." He quickly reponds with an obvious tone, "No, Mommy...that's a DINOSAUR BITE!" -I guess it was a little too big to pass off as an ordinary bug bite...If you want to know the truth, ask a small child!
6/13/08 QOTM On the way to Amelia Island, Andrew spots a motorcycle weaving in and out of traffic. To my dismay, he says, "I want a motorcycle." As if laying the foundation for future conversations, I try to convince him that it is not a good idea. (Keep in mind, he is not yet 3!) After going back and forth about it with him, he then says, "I want a motorcycle. Motorcycles are cool. I want to go fast!" I finally gave up, but....We are soooo in trouble with this one! The question is...Almost 3 or almost 16?
4/17/08 QOTM While driving in the car, Andrew says, " Mommy, Guys need stuff!" Not knowing where this could possibly be coming from, I asked him ,"Like what?" He replied, " You know, tractors, trucks, backhoes, hammers...guys need stuff!" I think someone has been hanging out with his Grandpa Pete and Uncle Rick too much.
4/8/08 QOTM On the way home from Amelia Island, Jessica and Beth find themselves in a van with an 8 year old and 3 screaming babies. An exasperated Aunt Beth says, "Why are all of the kids crying?" Taking a brief pause in his contribution to the noise, Andrew yells, "Because the kids are mad!"
3/11/08 QOTM When asked if he wants to go to the playground, Andrew replies, "No, I'm working on the house!" He takes his hammer and starts pounding on the back porch. He then looks up and says, "I can work on the playground!" and shrugs his shoulders.
1/31/08 QOTM Andrew says, "In Daddy's name we pray..." (sacreligious?? maybe...but, he ends random tasks by saying "Amen." Your call!)
1/27/08 QOTM: Greg gets down on the floor to give Andrew a requested hug. Andrew says, "Hug in the sky!" He wanted Greg to pick him up. I guess he thinks Greg is pretty tall!
1/22/08 QOTM: My sweet little "man," Andrew, says in a surprised tone... "IT SHOOTS!" ( referring to his unexpected peeing in the tub.)
